The Upper Canada District School Board offers a short-term program for students interested in a unique cultural and educational experience.

The UCDSB short-term cultural program allows students to enroll at a local school, participate in classes, enjoy extracurricular activities, live with a Canadian host family and in general experience the day-to-day life of a Canadian public school student.  Students can participate in the short-term cultural program as an individual, or as part of a group. The minimum group size for short-term is 8 students & 1 chaperone (Chaperones must speak English and are expected to actively participate in all events. One chaperone is invited to participate at no cost for every 10 fee paying students).

For groups, we can offer customized programs including individualized English as a Second Language training, dorm accommodations and trips to nearby cities and tourist attractions.  To begin the process of establishing a group for the UCDSB short term cultural program, please submit a completed Group Booking Form to [email protected].  A detailed explanation of the planning and preparation process related to short term group programs is available by clicking here.

The UCDSB International Education Program is proud to offer optional trips to Toronto, Niagara Falls, Ottawa, Montreal and more for students groups participating in our Short Term Integration Programs. Click below for a gallery of images from previous student trips to these exciting destinations:
